First night … Not too bad for 3 of us, horrible for poor Sebastien \ud83d\ude41 We all went to bed early, around 10 pm. Alex came in our bedroom around 1 am, complaining about not being able to breathe. He swapped with Sebastien. Emilie woke up 3 times during the night, waking Sebastien up each time. Apart from Sebastien who had to go to work, we all slept very late on Monday, until around 11 am.<\/p>\n
Premi\u00e8re nuit … Pas trop mal pour trois d’entre nous, horrible pour le pauvre S\u00e9bastien \ud83d\ude41 Nous sommes tous all\u00e9s nous coucher t\u00f4t, vers 22 heures. Alex est venu dans notre chambre vers 1 heure du matin, se plaignant de ne pas pouvoir respirer. Il a chang\u00e9 de place avec S\u00e9bastien. Emilie s’est r\u00e9veill\u00e9e 3 fois pendant la nuit, r\u00e9veillant S\u00e9bastien \u00e0 chaque fois. A part S\u00e9bastien qui a d\u00fb aller au travail, nous avons tous dormi tr\u00e8s tard jusqu’\u00e0 environ 11 heures du matin.<\/em><\/p>\n My first task was to find a clothes drying rack. I had some very vague directions to find a supermarket supposedly big enough to have this item. I didn’t find it on my first tentative, but I found the HSBC branch. So not a complete waste of time. I received the address and looked on Google Map where it was and I found the supermarket. Alas, there was no drying rack. thank god for Ikea, where you can find everything (Sebastien got one from Ikea after work).<\/p>\n Ma premi\u00e8re t\u00e2che consistait \u00e0 trouver un \u00e9tendoir \u00e0 linge. J’avais des instructions tr\u00e8s vagues pour trouver un supermarch\u00e9 soi-disant assez grand pour avoir cet article. Je ne l’ai pas trouv\u00e9 lors de ma premi\u00e8re tentative, mais j’ai trouv\u00e9 la succursale HSBC. Donc, pas une compl\u00e8te perte de temps. S\u00e9bastien m\u2019a envoy\u00e9 l’adresse compl\u00e8te, j\u2019ai regard\u00e9 sur Google Map o\u00f9 c’\u00e9tait et j’ai trouv\u00e9 le supermarch\u00e9. H\u00e9las, il n’y avait pas d’\u00e9tendoir \u00e0 linge. Mais heureusement, il y a Ikea o\u00f9 l\u2019on peut tout trouver (S\u00e9bastien y a trouv\u00e9 un s\u00e9choir \u00e0 linge apr\u00e8s le travail).<\/em><\/p>\n In the afternoon, we\u00a0went on a walk to Victoria Park. More to see our new environment than anything else. We got lost on the way there and back, so instead of an hour walk, we were out 3 hours. The weather is the most difficult thing to get used to. It’s hot and humid. And it was very sunny on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n Dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi, nous avons fait une promenade au parc Victoria. C’\u00e9tait plus pour voir notre nouvel environnement. Nous nous sommes perdus en chemin et au lieu d’une heure de marche, nous sommes sortis 3 heures. Le plus difficile, c’est la m\u00e9t\u00e9o. C’est dur de s’y habituer. Il fait chaud et humide. Et c’\u00e9tait tr\u00e8s ensoleill\u00e9 lundi.<\/em><\/p>\n Part of our daily routine is to go for an hour \/ an hour and a half to the swimming pool downstairs. It’s an outside pool and it’s the best place to be in this weather. As it is mostly deserted, it is ideal with boisterous children!<\/p>\n En fin d\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, nous sommes all\u00e9s \u00e0 la piscine. La piscine est en ext\u00e9rieur et c\u2019est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able par ce temps-l\u00e0\u00a0! Nous y restons une heure \/ une heure et demie.
