But, good news, I am 2.5 kg lighter and that&#8217;s after Christmas and New Year banquets. So I am pretty chuffed with myself. It is going so much slower than I thought \/ hoped, but I&#8217;m getting there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Aloors, cela fait quelques mois que je n\u2019ai pas parl\u00e9 ce sujet. Mais, bonne nouvelle, j&#8217;ai perdu 2,5 kg et ceci apr\u00e8s les banquets de No\u00ebl et du nouvel an. Donc, je suis assez tr\u00e8s contente de moi. Cela va beaucoup plus lentement que je pensais \/ esp\u00e9rais, mais j&#8217;y arrive !<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After we moved in our flat, I was going to the gym 3 times a week and swimming a couple of times a week. But my weight and my figure didn&#8217;t change. I obviously didn&#8217;t do the right thing. Out of desperation, I signed up with Noom, a (paying) app on my phone. I hadn&#8217;t plan on spending anything to lose weight but I am very surprised that it is working and I would definitely recommend the app to anyone who&#8217;s struggling and have struggled for some time to lose weight. At first, i.e. the first 4 weeks after signing up, the scale didn&#8217;t move one bit but I was less bloated (i.e. my belt was not as tight and I could remove my ring without losing a finger!). And then suddenly, I started losing weight. Yeah! I am so much more comfortable in my clothes now! But, I still can&#8217;t fit my red dress. So not there yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Apr\u00e8s notre emm\u00e9nagement, j\u2019allais \u00e0 la salle de gym 3 fois par semaine et je nageais deux ou trois fois par semaine. Mais mon poids et ma silhouette ne changeaient pas. Donc, ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas la bonne technique. En d\u00e9sespoir de cause, je me suis inscrite \u00e0 Noom, une application (payante) sur mon t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Je n&#8217;avais pas pr\u00e9vu de d\u00e9penser quoi que ce soit pour perdre du poids, mais je suis tr\u00e8s surprise que \u00e7a marche et je recommande l&#8217;application \u00e0 tous ceux\/celles qui ont du mal \u00e0 perdre du poids. Au d\u00e9but, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire les 4 premi\u00e8res semaines, il n\u2019y avait aucun changement de poids, mais j\u2019\u00e9tais moins gonfl\u00e9 (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que ma ceinture n\u2019\u00e9tait pas aussi serr\u00e9e et que je pouvais retirer ma bague sans perdre un doigt !). Et puis tout \u00e0 coup, j&#8217;ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 perdre du poids. Yes ! Je suis maintenant plus \u00e0 l&#8217;aise dans mes v\u00eatements ! Mais, je ne rentre toujours pas dans ma robe rouge. Donc il y a encore du boulot.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have also started going back to kick boxing. Sebastien enrolled me with his personal trainer and I&#8217;ve had 4 sessions in the last month. It feels good to punch and kick. I have good rests, I can still kick ass \ud83d\ude42 (literally!) I was also surprised to sustain the tough sessions without being completely exhausted. T-shirt soaked with sweat, but I can keep going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em> J&#8217;ai aussi repris le kick boxing. S\u00e9bastien m&#8217;a inscrite avec son entra\u00eeneur personnel et j&#8217;ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait4 s\u00e9ances le mois dernier. \u00c7a fait du bien de frapper. Je me dr\u00e9brouille bien, je peux toujours botter des fesses \ud83d\ude42 (litt\u00e9ralement !) J&#8217;ai aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 surprise de mon endurance. And I eat far less. I stopped the fasting in the morning as it didn&#8217;t do anything for me. I am a big breakfast, medium lunch and small dinner kind of girl. And I don&#8217;t snack on crap during the day anymore. I&#8217;ve got fruit instead. I still have chocolate and wine and ice cream occasionally (well I have wine more often than ice cream)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em>En plus du kick boxing, je cours 5km une fois par semaine sur le tapis roulant et je l\u00e8ve des poids pendant une heure \u00e0 la salle de gym. Et je mange beaucoup moins. J&#8217;ai arr\u00eat\u00e9 le je\u00fbne le matin car \u00e7a ne me convient pas. J\u2019aime le petit d\u00e9jeuner copieux, et je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re un bon petit d\u00e9jeuner, un d\u00e9jeuner moyen et un d\u00eener l\u00e9ger. Et je ne mange plus de cochonneries pendant la journ\u00e9e. J&#8217;ai des fruits \u00e0 la place. Je mange toujours du chocolat, du vin et de la glace \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion (enfin, je prends du vin plus souvent que de la glace)!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>My commitments:<\/u><\/strong> <br>1 -&gt; 2019, 59 kg ; <br>2 -&gt; I want to wear my Chinese inspired dress for Sebastien&#8217;s birthday, the 3rd Feb (it&#8217;s his favorite and I haven&#8217;t been able to wear it for quite some time. It fits, but I can&#8217;t move&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em><u>Je m\u2019engage<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em> (comme un homme politique)&nbsp;!<br>1 -&gt; 2019, 59 kg;<br>2 -&gt; Je veux porter ma robe chinoise pour l&#8217;anniversaire de S\u00e9bastien, le 3 f\u00e9vrier (c&#8217;est sa pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e et je n&#8217;ai pas pu la porter depuis un certain temps.
