After almost a week of hot and stuffy weather, the heavens had broken and it was raining on Friday. I still thought that staying inside the whole day was not a good idea. So I decided to go buy another small box of lego. I found a place not far from us on the internet and this time, I checked how to get there without needing to walk. We took the tram. The terminus for the trams is downstairs so we could not miss it.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s presqu\u2019une semaine de temps chaud et \u00e9touffant, il s\u2019est enfin mis \u00e0 pleuvoir vendredi. N\u00e9anmoins, je pensais que rester toute la journ\u00e9e \u00e0 la maison n’\u00e9tait pas une bonne id\u00e9e. Donc, j\u2019ai cherch\u00e9 un magasin de jouets sur internet pour y acheter une deuxi\u00e8me boite de lego. Cette fois, j’ai bien regard\u00e9 comment y aller sans avoir \u00e0 marcher. Nous avons pris le tram. Le terminus des trams est juste en bas de l\u2019immeuble, impossible de le rater.<\/em><\/p>\n

We could not find the toy shop when we arrived. We hesitated and looked around and someone stopped in the street to help us. The shop was inside a building, that’s why we could not see it from the street. That was a small shop packed full with lego. A paradise for Alex and Emilie. But it was also hard to come out with only one small box, Emilie wanted to buy everything!<\/p>\n

Une fois sur place, nous n\u2019avons pas trouv\u00e9 le magasin de jouets. Nous h\u00e9sitions et regardions autour de nous quand quelqu’un s’est arr\u00eat\u00e9 dans la rue pour nous aider. En fait, la boutique \u00e9tait \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur d’un b\u00e2timent, c’est pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas la voir de la rue. C’\u00e9tait un petit magasin rempli de lego. Un paradis pour Alex et Emilie. Mais c’\u00e9tait aussi difficile de ressortir avec une seule petite bo\u00eete, Emilie voulait tout acheter !<\/em><\/p>\n

On our way to the toy shop, the tram stopped in front of a Warhammer shop. Alex was super happy and couldn’t wait to go and have a look around.<\/p>\n

En allant au  magasin de jouets, le tram s’est arr\u00eat\u00e9 devant un magasin Warhammer. Alex \u00e9tait super content et \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s impatient d\u2019y aller faire un tour.<\/em><\/p>\n

On our way back, we got soaked! Our first real Hong Kong rain. It was a small rain according to the locals, but we were wet very fast, according to our standards!<\/p>\n

En rentrant, nous nous sommes fait sauc\u00e9s ! Notre premi\u00e8re vraie pluie Hong Kongaise. C\u2019\u00e9tait une petite pluie selon les habitants, mais nous \u00e9tions tr\u00e8s mouill\u00e9s, selon nos normes !<\/em><\/p>\n

Tram are just great! From Happy Valley, we can go anywhere in the north of the main island where there are all the shops.<\/p>\n
