It was Emilie’s birthday. She was super excited! She had been talking about her birthday for months!<\/p>\n

Le 9, c’\u00e9tait l’anniversaire d’Emilie. Elle \u00e9tait super excit\u00e9e ! Elle en parlait depuis des mois !<\/em><\/p>\n

Emilie and I went to get a cake for her big day. I saw a bakery down the road so we went there together. The choice was very poor, but Emilie found a black forest gateau. We also bought ice cream for Alex as he could not have any of the cake.<\/p>\n

Emilie et moi sommes all\u00e9es chercher un g\u00e2teau pour l\u2019occasion. J’avais rep\u00e9r\u00e9 une boulangerie en bas de la rue, alors nous y sommes all\u00e9es ensemble. Le choix \u00e9tait pauvre, mais Emilie a trouv\u00e9 une for\u00eat noire. Nous avons \u00e9galement achet\u00e9 de la glace pour Alex car il ne pouvait pas avoir de g\u00e2teau.<\/em><\/p>\n

When we came back home, the cleaning ladies were in the flat. Emilie was so excited, she told them it was her birthday today. In the afternoon, one of the cleaning ladies knocked on the door and gave Emilie a small present. Emilie was so happy and surprised! It’s a Tsum Tsum, a small plastic box with a drawer to put your trinkets. Emilie loved it!<\/p>\n

\u00c0 notre retour, les femmes de m\u00e9nage \u00e9taient dans l’appartement. Emilie \u00e9tait tellement contente qu\u2019elle leur a dit que c’\u00e9tait son anniversaire aujourd’hui. Dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi, l’une des femmes de m\u00e9nage a frapp\u00e9 \u00e0 la porte et a donn\u00e9 un petit cadeau \u00e0 Emilie. Emilie \u00e9tait si heureuse et surprise! C’est un Tsum Tsum, une petite bo\u00eete en plastique avec un tiroir pour mettre ses petits bijoux. Emilie a ador\u00e9!<\/em><\/p>\n

We had planned to have lunch with Sebastien. There are loads of places to eat downstairs from where he works. We were supposed to meet at 12.15. We left a bit later than I wanted and we could not find a taxi. We started walking there but it was no good. We had to cancel. We were all disappointed so we went to have lunch … in Mac Donalds \ud83d\ude42 That was a good lunch for the birthday girl!<\/p>\n

Nous avions pr\u00e9vu de d\u00e9jeuner avec S\u00e9bastien. Il y a des tas d’endroits o\u00f9 manger en bas de son travail. Nous devions nous retrouver \u00e0 12h15. Nous sommes partis un peu plus tard que je ne le voulais et nous n’avons pas pu trouver de taxi. Nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 marcher mais \u00e7a prenait trop de temps. Nous avons d\u00fb annuler. Nous \u00e9tions tous d\u00e9\u00e7us alors nous sommes all\u00e9s d\u00e9jeuner … au Mac Donalds \ud83d\ude42 C’\u00e9tait un bon d\u00e9jeuner pour un anniversaire !<\/em><\/p>\n

It was very hot and stuffy and we didn’t want to go out in the afternoon. So we just went to the hairdresser for Alex. We didn’t know where to go so we wandered in the streets until we found a place that didn’t look too Chinese. The guy who cut Alex’s hair was difficult to understand, but he was very nice and Alex looked good with his new haircut.<\/p>\n

Il faisait chaud et \u00e9touffant et nous ne voulions pas sortir l’apr\u00e8s-midi. Nous sommes donc all\u00e9s chez le coiffeur pour Alex. Nous ne savions pas o\u00f9 aller alors nous nous sommes promen\u00e9s dans les rues jusqu’\u00e0 ce que nous trouvions un endroit qui n’avait pas l’air trop chinois. Le gars qui a coup\u00e9 les cheveux d’Alex \u00e9tait difficile \u00e0 comprendre, mais il \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s gentil et Alex avait l’air bien avec sa nouvelle coupe de cheveux.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sebastien came home early so we had a nice birthday diner. Emilie loved her cake and both enjoyed their presents. A few more things to entertain them!<\/p>\n

S\u00e9bastien est rentr\u00e9 t\u00f4t et nous avons pass\u00e9 un bon d\u00eener d’anniversaire. Emilie a aim\u00e9 son g\u00e2teau et Alex et Emilie ont appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 leurs cadeaux. Quelques trucs de plus pour les divertir !<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
