I thought it would be helpful to compile all the nice places / shops / services I used in Hong Kong for anyone to use.
- Health:
I only recommend the services I tried and appreciated. For woman’s health, I liked Dr Zara Chan at OT&P. She was on maternity leave last time I went but she might be back now. If you are looking for a paediatrician, I recommend Dr Simon Wong. His English is very good and he’s super nice. He’s in Causeway Bay. For orthodontics, Emilie saw Dr Martine Boisson in Central and I really liked her. For allergies, look no further than Dr Adrian Wu. He’s very popular, very successful but really good as well. And I cannot recommend Donna Sutton more (my physio). She’s great. She saw all 4 of us and fixed us 🙂
- Beauty:
I recommend Aurore Antal, she’s French and really professional. She comes to your house and do facial, waxing, mani / pedi. Reasonably priced. Her number is +852 6909 0657. Another place I went to numerous times without booking and always cheap, Freedas on Hennessy road (HK$60 for half-leg wax).
- Sport and leisure:
Impakt Gym is a good place for martial art classes. And Emilie loved Trybe where she did acrobatics and parkour. They also do adult classes. I highly recommend.
- Recycling and eco-conscious:
Live Zero is a zero-waste shop. They have a lot of choice in food and in cleaning products. Bring your containers! To recycle easily, you can download the Waste Less app that will show you all the recycling places in HK. There is also a small recycling shop in Happy Valley that also take small electricals and tetrapacks (address: G/F, Shop 3, Green Valley Mansion, 51 Wong Nai Chung Rd, Happy Valley, Hong Kong).
- Others:
