Sebastien and I had a stroll in Kampong Glam, a tiny neighbourhood delimited by Rochor Canal, Nicoll Highway and Ophir road (map). According to my guide book, most of it had been demolished some time ago. There is still the beautiful Sultan Mosque and the very lively and busy Arab Street and Haji Lane (also known as the narrowest street in Singapore). It’s a completely different atmosphere than other parts of Singapore.

Il y a encore la belle mosquée du Sultan et Arab Street et Haji Lane (également connue comme la rue la plus étroite de Singapour). C’est une atmosphère complètement différente.
