I played a dirty trick on the kids and enrolled them in doing this 4-hours walk organised by Accueil Singapour. They weren’t too happy but the came along and walked without complaining. They even admitted that “it wasn’t that bad”!
J’ai joué un sale tour aux enfants et je nous ai inscrits tous les trois à cette marche de 4 heures organisée par Accueil Singapour. Ils n’étaient pas trop contents mais ils sont quand même venus et ont marché sans se plaindre. Ils ont même admis que “ce n’était pas si mal” !
The Southern Ridges is a series of 4 parks next to each other at the south of Singapore. We started by Kent Ridge Park, then Hort Park. We crossed Alexandra Arch, walked on the treetop and crossed Henderson Waves and finished in Mount Faber Park where there is the start of the cable car for Sentosa.
Les Southern Ridges sont une série de 4 parcs côte à côte au sud de Singapour. Nous avons commencé par Kent Ridge Park, puis Hort Park. Nous avons ensuite traversé Alexandra Arch, marché sur la cime des arbres et traversé Henderson Waves et terminé par le Mount Faber Park où se trouve le départ du téléphérique pour Sentosa.
At the top of Mount Faber, there is a memorial with all these bas-relief about Singapore’s history. Singapore is mostly flat, but there are hills as well all with big names such as Mount Faber 🙂
Au sommet du mont Faber, il y a un mémorial avec tous ces bas-reliefs sur l’histoire de Singapour. Singapour est principalement plat, mais il y a aussi des collines avec de grands noms tels que le Mont Faber 🙂
