After staying a week on Bintan Island (Indonesia), we spent a relaxing Sunday at home and went on a nice afternoon walk in the Botanic Gardens. Don’t ask me why, but this garden reminded me of Greenwich Park. I liked it very much! Like any other parks, it has lots to offer and I only saw a fraction of it. I look forward to going back again and again and again 🙂
Après avoir passé une semaine sur l’île de Bintan (Indonésie), nous avons profité d’un dimanche au calme à la maison et avons fait une belle promenade l’après-midi dans les jardins botaniques. Ne me demandez pas pourquoi, mais ce jardin m’a rappelé Greenwich Park. Je l’ai beaucoup aimé ! Comme tous les autres parcs, il y a beaucoup à voir et je n’en ai vu qu’une fraction. J’ai hâte d’y retourner encore et encore et encore 🙂
Every Sunday afternoon at 5 pm, there’s live music in the music kiosk (not really a kiosk as it is so big). It’s free and a great way to finish the weekend.
Tous les dimanches après-midi à 17h, il y a de la musique live dans le kiosque à musique (pas vraiment un kiosque tellement il est grand). C’est gratuit et c’est une excellente façon de terminer le week-end.
We crossed path with several big lizards and, obviously, wild chickens 😀
Nous avons aussi croisé plusieurs gros lézards et, évidemment, des poules et coqs sauvages 😀
