Another one on my bucket list. I was curious to see what this museum had. I was not disappointed. It is a small museum set in the old governor’s house. On the ground floor, they explain the different teas, and the evolution of tea drinking habits though the ages and throughout China. There are some very old tea ware.
Une des choses que je voulais voir avant de partir. J’étais curieuse de voir ce que ce musée présentait. Je n’ai pas été déçue. C’est un petit musée installé dans l’ancienne maison du gouverneur de Hong Kong. Au rez-de-chaussée, ils expliquent les différents thés, et l’évolution des habitudes de consommation du thé à travers les époques et à travers la Chine. Il y a de la vaisselle à thé très ancienne.
On the first floor, there are some contemporary tea ware. A lot of creativity and idea from 21st century artists.
Au premier étage, il y a des créations contemporaines. Beaucoup de créativité et d’idées d’artistes du 21ème siècle.
A short visit full of beautiful things! And the outside is nice as well, in Hong Kong Park.
