The 31st January was a Sunday. Emilie suggested we go to the Creperie in Wan Chai for lunch so we went there. After lunch, Alex went to his friend for the afternoon and the 3 of us decided to go to the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens as it was such a beautiful day. We went there in August 2018 and you can see the pictures (Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens – 18-08-2018). It’s crazy how Alex and Emilie have changed since!
Dimanche 31 janvier, Emilie nous a proposé d’aller déjeuner à la Crêperie de Wan Chai et nous y sommes allés. Après le déjeuner, Alex est allé chez son ami pour l’après-midi. Comme il faisait très beau, Sébastien, Emilie et moi avons décidé d’aller aux jardins zoologiques et botaniques de Hong Kong. Nous y étions allés en août 2018 et vous pouvez voir les photos (Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens – 18-08-2018). C’est fou comme Alex et Emilie ont changé !

We got in the park and through the gate guarded by two funny looking lions and then we walked in the bamboo garden.
A l’entrée du parc, nous avons franchi la porte gardée par deux lions rigolos, puis nous avons marché dans le jardin de bambous.
We walked in the park. Unfortunately, the zoological side of the park was closed because of covid. We could only see half of the park.
Malheureusement, le côté zoologique du parc était fermé à cause du covid. Nous n’avons pu voir que la moitié du parc.

We left the park, crossed the road and went into Hong Kong Park. The aviary was open and we could see beautiful birds up close.
Nous avons quitté le parc, traversé la route et sommes entrés dans le parc de Hong Kong. La volière était ouverte et nous avons pu voir de beaux oiseaux de très près.
We spotted a wedding celebration (not so much social distancing there…)
Nous avons vu une fête de mariage (pas beaucoup de distanciation sociale…)
We finished our walk by following the water stream and admiring the tortoises lazing in the sun.
Nous avons terminé notre promenade en suivant le cours d’eau et en admirant les tortues se prélasser au soleil.
