Happy Valley Cemeteries – 22-10-2018

I always liked cemeteries. They are calm and spiritual places and I find myself thinking about the lives of the persons there. In Happy Valley there are 3 big cemeteries: the Parsee, which is the oldest, is very green and flowery; the Roman Catholic, which is huge and has non-catholic tombs; and the Muslim, which I didn’t have time to look at. It is very odd as these cemeteries are on the slope of the hill and a busy motorway is running on their doorstep. But when you step inside, you are in another world.
