April was a great month! It started with the kids being on holiday 2 weeks, with a long Easter weekend in the middle and was followed by Sebastien being on holiday 2 weeks. An occasion to step out of our routine.
Avril a été un mois super ! Tout d’abord, les enfants ont eu 2 semaines de vacances, avec un long week-end de Pâques au milieu et ensuite Sébastien était en vacances 2 semaines. Une occasion de sortir de notre routine.
Emilie spent her first week of holiday at a musicals camp and they did their version of FAME. The last day, they showed us what they had been working on. It’s quite impressive what they manage to learn in 3 2.5-hour sessions! We had lunch at the Creperie afterwards.
La première semaine, Emilie a participé à un stage comédie musicale. Ils nous ont présenté leur version de FAME, le dernier jour. C’est assez impressionnant ce qu’ils parviennent à apprendre en 3 sessions de 2,5 heures ! Ensuite, nous avons déjeuné à la Crêperie.

We had a 5-day weekend for Easter and we didn’t do much. But it is very nice to just chill and relax (check the 2 pictures below!) Easter egg hunt has taken place in the lounge as usual. When we were in London, it was because most of the times it rained, but here, it’s because it’s too hot!
Pendant le week-end de Pâques (5 jours fériés !) nous n’avons pas fait grand-chose. Mais c’est très agréable de se détendre (regardez les 2 photos ci-dessous !) La chasse aux œufs de Pâques a eu lieu dans le salon comme d’habitude. Quand nous étions à Londres, c’était parce qu’il pleuvait la plupart du temps, mais ici, c’est parce qu’il fait trop chaud !

Sebastien’s Easter treats
I spotted quite a few murals during this month and you can check them in Murals. I also added a few new pictures in Buildings and Quirky, collected during my walks around town.
J’ai repéré pas mal de peintures murales ce mois-ci et vous pouvez les voir dans Murals. J’ai également ajouté quelques nouvelles photos dans Buildings et Quirky, glanées lors de mes promenades en ville.
We found a new restaurant in Stanley, very nice and friendly. We’ve been there several times. It’s a bit hidden and we enjoy the privacy as well as the menu!
Nous avons trouvé un nouveau restaurant à Stanley, très agréable et sympathique. Nous y sommes déjà allés plusieurs fois. C’est un peu caché et nous y apprécions l’intimité aussi bien que le menu !
On the way / En chemin 
Emilie has started a new tradition: Sunday, Starbucks, Shopping. Sebastien and Emilie go to Stanley every Sunday morning. They leave around 9 and they go to Stanley for the weekly food shopping. They stop at Starbucks to get their breakfast. While I am lazy in bed and Alex is asleep.
Emilie a lancé une nouvelle tradition : dimanche, Starbucks, courses (ça marche moins bien en français). Sébastien et Emilie vont à Stanley tous les dimanches matin. Ils partent vers 9 heures et vont à Stanley faire les courses alimentaires. Ils s’arrêtent chez Starbucks pour prendre leur petit-déjeuner. Pendant que je suis traîne au lit et qu’Alex dort.
I’ve got a few pictures that I wanted to show you: the cat in the street, Dior window for my Italian-speaking friends (your fate is in your hands!), an interesting but oddly placed saying in a coffee shop and a man carving Chinese letters on a pillar at the Man Mo temple.

And last but not least, Sebastien and Alex have been learning a self-defence move called the guillotine and they are teaching it to Emilie. I didn’t even want to try!
Et pour finir, Sébastien et Alex ont appris un mouvement d’autodéfense appelé la guillotine et ils l’enseignent à Emilie. Je n’ai même pas voulu essayer !
